Running Musings - 031807
As I was running on the treadmill I realized that I was going a similar pace, and style as I did the last outdoor run; the one where I felt pathetic. However, today I didn't feel pathetic on the treadmill. This was a get the Monday blues out of the way type of run. Even though I ran slower than I thought I would, it was still all good. However, I decided to increase my speed I will designate a couple days to a decrease in distance, but increased speed. I think many books recommend this. So, if all goes to plan Sundays/Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays are my 5k runs, and Tuesdays/Thursdays are my 1.5 mile runs; .5 miles to warm up, and then 1 mile of increased speed. Should be cool!
