Running Musings - 041807

I ran for the first time in a long time. It was shorter than expected, but my knee started to hurt. I think I tied my shoe laces too tight, and they just wouldn't work out no matter how many times I retied them.

I completed my work out on the stationary bicycle. There was a time that I rode the fastest I ever rode on a stationary bicycle because I wanted to reach the recommended heart rate for my age group. I never looked at it that way before. Maybe I should start taking my pulse during a run so that I keep on track with what is recommended for my age. It would be quite the different experience because I usually base my runs on length primarily, speed far in second. Could be interesting, though.
