Running Musings - 122207

I thought the Winter Solstice was tomorrow, but it started this morning. Happy Solstice!

It was a very good run in that I pushed myself and didn't feel terrible ill effects. It took just a couple minutes to breathe normally after the run, and I wasn't really out of breath, just breathing a little faster. It's exciting that I am willing to push myself. I've been careful for so long that it would take a lot for me to push myself even close to my limit. However, with careful planning I can run and just be free. I ate a egg/cheese english muffin sandwich this morning so I didn't know if I was going to be a slacker runner. However, I also squeezed 3 oranges and a grapefruit, and drank some tea, and I think the citrus is where it's at.

Highlights included:

Pearl Jam's Arc
Pat Benatar's Love is a Battlefield
CC+The Music Factory's Gonna Make You Sweat
Linkin Park's In the End (I played 2xs)
