Running Musings - 080507

I rode the stationary bicycle. Before I started the work out I was kindof grumpy. I'm not losing weight as quickly as I would have hoped, and I just felt old and ugly. I'm turning 39 this month, and I'm eternally single.

Anyway, by the end of the workout I felt great, and life was great! Nothing like getting the blood moving to good music. I think the fact that I use an iPod is a major point in life being good. It is one of the only times where every song I listen to I like because I picked every song. One of the best parts of exercising during the exercising is the music . . . and the sweating, and the ultra-cool other-beings experiences. However, something very wonderful about my own handpicked music. Highlights included Alone which I listened to twice.

The trouble with working out, and with eating a lot of vegetables and fruits is the work. I always always always feel better after I do these activities, and yet it's a struggle to just get out the door and exercise or buy the food. My major problem with my food is that all the good healthy stuff runs out by Thursday, and I'm just not motivated to go to the grocery store as opposed to a bookstore by Thursday. If I can work out 5 days/week, and go to the grocery store 2 times/week life would be shifted in an incredible way.
